Since the rise of coronavirus cases, businesses are continuously closing. Leaving residents with less things to do outside and more things to do inside. Perhaps learning a new skill, becoming more handy and alternating take-out for home cooked meals.
Although many businesses have been closed for weeks & schedules shifted to work at home, residents are remaining active. Finding new ways to keep busy and make the best of the “Stay home, Work safe” order.
While some residents transformed their homes into work spaces, others are taking this time at home to be more creative and intellectual.Bookstores such as Barnes and Noble are allowing people to continue to feed their brains by offering curbside pick up for select books and recommending people to order books from home.
Ministries are being impacted as well, taking on services from within the hom. Creating zoom meetings, live recordings, and other chat sites to continue services. “I can focus more and I can actually tune into what he is saying so it makes me not miss anything that pertains to my life,” Dominique moss, Member of Apple of His Eye Ministries states.
The Houston officials request that everyone continue to follow the guidelines while covid-19 is still impacting our lives.
